Elliott Falls
After a quiet night near Elliott Falls we packed up and went for a swim at the falls, I swam down the river from Elliott falls to Twin & Indian Head Falls, beautiful clear water and picturesque small waterfalls everywhere. There was a lot to look at in one morning.
Been there too

Indian Head falls
We took in as much serenity as we could then moved on along the Telegraph Track through a few more river crossings and back out to the Jardine River ferry, which was closed for lunch, perfect time for our lunch break too.
Ww2 plane crash at Bamaga airport

Over the ferry which costs $100 return
and basically lifts up one ramp and drops
the other and you drive off, very short
expensive ferry ride, but the ticket
works as a permit for all the
 Aboringinal owned camps as well

We didn't think the roads could get worse, but after the Jardine they did, on along more corrugated dust roads to Bamaga, shopping, and wait for Jame's beer, Bottleo doesn't open till 5pm!  So we went for a short drive to the airport and found a few ww2 plane wrecks while we waited.
Jandal-Horse Beach

We set up camp in  the dark on Jandal-Horse Beach amongst hundreds of lost jandals washed up on the beach and the wild horses for 2nights, apparently they all have owners the just roam free throughout the district.
After a day of unsuccessful fishing, & a relaxing Sunday at the beach, Jame's made a new friend,  Bob Marleys weight lifting cousin, who offered us a job and said we could camp at his beach batch, just a tin roof right on the beach, most of it had been wrecked be storms. The next day we went fishing at the wharf all day, underneath is millions of herring which are easy to catch in cast net, ideal live bait.
After a long day fishing we had 3x good Queen fish for dinner cooked on the fire at the beach batch.
Perfect swimming pool

Cant decide which Jandal  to wear.
