Went for an early morning Hiking trip at Stony Creek, up the side of a mountain to Glacier Rock. Awesome views, need to do more hiking. Didn't know what to do or where to go so I headed south to a free camp at   Babinda Boulders, got up early and took the kayak out exploring Babinda River. In the quiet morning it was just me and the platypus, magic.

Camping at Ross & lock just chilling to catch my breath and relax clear mind decide Where to go.
Checked out Bahana Creek for a swim and a few days camp.
Oh didn't get moving far enough away from work,  got called back to work for 1 week, but camping at Bahana Creek while working during the day was great. Swim in creek every morning and night. Best view, beats living in a house and it's free.  at least got to attend Xmas party. Slept in truck out side work. Everyone thought I was mad but I had a bed and breakfast right there,  why would I go anywhere.

Perth- WA , for Xmas 2016

Next day brought a one-way ticket to Perth for the next day, to see Selena and Paul and kids Xmas eve, gee not seen them for over a year maybe 18 months, flying east to west under The Stars on Santa's sleigh, at least that's what I told Isabella and Mark when they saw me sleeping in lounge under the tree Xmas morning ,kids  were surprised to see me.

Help Paul fix Truck, yes working on my time off again,  was good to help Paul get the clutch done,  I know I've had my share of help.

New Years at a mates place, was plenty of good spirits, and water skiing at the dam next day was good hang over cure,  don't get bad hangovers these days, I kinda no when to call it and have a sleep. Neat whiskey will do that though.

Helped Selena and the kids with her veges/herb garden. Terrible Sandy dirt so we fixed it with seaweed, storms had washed  big heaps of it up on the Beach,  kids had fun picking up the right ones,and Mark learned that he can fight the sea,  yelling at the waves LOL,  and then a big one came and he was soaked. Mark what did you learn about the sea, reply the sea cant hear me.

Better book a ticket back. Only 3 weeks till I'm due back at Weipa.

The kids took me to Endeavour Park while mum was at work, they knew the way, i didn't.
